ALO Fingerprints In-Store

Fingerprints hosted an in-store for ALO on the evening of the release of their new record “Roses & Clover.” The in-store was well promoted through the Fingerprints email blast, in-store flyers and signage and ads with both the LA and OC Weekly. Fans were able to pre-order the record the week before release in order to guarantee their spot for their only LA area performance. The band began playing just after 7pm as about 80 people squeezed into the back of the store. Their set, which was just under an hour long, consisted of mostly songs from the new record and a few older favorites. This was the first time that ALO had played these new songs live in front of an audience. The songs “Maria” and the title track “Roses and Clover” had a great reaction from the crowd. ALO even invited their friend from the band Delta Nove to sit in on saxophone during one of their jams. Everyone in the store was really into the performance and I noticed a lot of people dancing during the performance. There was a good mix of people young and old from the OC and from LA that came out to the show. After their set, ALO came out to sign CDs and the limited Fingerprints art poster (which the guys loved). Overall we had a great turnout and sold 70 copies of “Roses and Clover.” Big thanks to Fingerprints for hosting and to Josh Nicotra from Brushfire for his support. Also thanks to Frank Arigo and Mary Robson for help with setting up the in-store.
